A book club that opens up your world to different voices and experiences. Through a range of fiction and non-fiction books we explore the most exciting work of authors from the global majority as well as building a community for those who are curious about expanding their world view.

how does it work?

Each month we will announce a new book to read and we will also partner with other authors who will give us their own very special recommendations. You will also receive thought prompts to help you reflect and dig deeper into the texts.

At the end of each month we’ll hold a virtual meeting with our fellow book clubbers to discuss and reflect on what we may have learned from our reading, but also speak and hear directly from the authors.

Plus, we have special discounts code for black owned bookstores, giveaways and special guests along the way!

why should i join?

If you want to expand and diversify your bookshelf, open your mind to new stories, and read books you may not usually hear about then this book club is for you. We want to be a community for all backgrounds that learns and grows together and does more to create change - but it’s also a brilliant way to make some friends who share a love of books.

Up for it?

what makes us different?

Although there are many amazing book clubs out there that we love, we realised that we couldn’t find a book club that was run and informed by Black and Brown voices, open to everyone, and focused on spotlighting authors from the global majority.

The Everyday Racism Book Club is the home of diverse books, helping to open up and expose your literary eyes and ears to brand new voices and experiences.

We will create an open learning environment where people from all different backgrounds can come together to grow, develop and learn together in a safe space at their own pace.
